Location
The Location feature displays a map showing the current location of the car.
When using the location feature, the following options are available:
- Press to return to the RSE system main menu.
- Press to go to the currently playing media, when applicable.
- Press to enable map scrolling features. Use the touch screen on the TSR to move around the map.
Tap the touch screen to exit scroll mode.
- Press to select a zoom level. Swipe upwards on the touch screen to zoom out, swipe downwards to zoom in.
It is also possible to zoom in or out at any time by ‘pinching’ the touch screen.
- Press to centre the map on the car’s current position.
- Press to select the map display type.
The following options are available:
• Auto - Press to display the view best suited to the current zoom level.
• Aerial - Press to display a two-dimensional satellite view.
• Bird’s eye - Press to display a three dimensional ‘birds-eye’ satellite view.
• Road - Press to display a two-dimensional map view.
Auto is the default setting for the map view.
- Press to return to the previous menu screen.
- Press to refresh the displayed map. This may be necessary if the map does not display correctly.
Note
• An internet connection is required for this feature.
• In areas of poor connectivity, the map image may not be displayed correctly.
• The SIM card reader located in the glovebox is for the online features of the RSE system only: it is not part of the mobile telephone system.
• The correct operation of the Wi-Fi router (and any devices connected to it), is dependent upon the coverage of your mobile network provider.
• The online connection is subject to charges. Charges are made whenever an internet-based service is actively used. Bentley Motors Limited recommend using a SIM card that includes a data flat rate or data volume package. In some countries, data flat rates that are tailored specifically for this online service are available from mobile network providers. Please check with an authorised Bentley dealer and your mobile network provider if you have any questions regarding availability.
